The business opportunity seminar was held for half day on 2 September in Grand Hyatt Hotel, Jakarta.
The objective of the workshop was to introduce the Business Opportunities offered by IDB financed projects to the construction and consulting industry partners in the IDB Member Countries (MCs), also to encourage the local firms to participate actively in the IDB projects in its MCs, in order to enhance their capacity and enable their involvement in the projects that are financed by international financial institutions.
Content of the program in the seminar were introduction to IDB Group, presentation on how to access and participate in international tenders and assignments in IDB member countries and guidance in the requirements for participating in international tenders and assignments.
Participants invited for the seminar were members of contractors association (AKI) and consultant association (INKINDO), consultants/contractors who are already engaged in IDB financed projects and all potential state owned consultants/contractors. There were about 88 participants attending the workshop.
